Instrumentation Service (IQ/OQ/PQ/PM)
DRiCM will act as the national source of metrologically traceable Bangladesh Standard Reference Materials (DRiCM-SRMB) e.g. Matrix Matched Certified Reference Materials (MMCRM), Certified Reference Materials (CRMs), Secondary and other Calibration Reference Standards (CRS) etc. to be used by industrial QC laboratories, chemical testing laboratories, education-research laboratories. Through building partnership with other regional and international metrology organizations, following the appropriate scientific analytical methods and technologies DRiCM would be acquiring, developing, characterizing (qualitative and quantitative), storing and distributing Standard Materials for chemical calibrations to be used ultimately by the national chemical testing laboratories. These very specialized products and their certificates with stated uncertainty would be developed and disseminated to Bangladeshi laboratories following the quality control procedures stated in the international standards ISO Guide 34. These Reference Materials would be available with certificates depicting the appropriate Unbroken Chain of Metrological Traceability up to SI Unit with BIPM.
